Our Hospice of South-Central Indiana – Pediatric Program

Our Hospice exists in the hope and belief that, through appropriate care, patients and families may be free to attain a degree of mental and spiritual preparation for death that is satisfactory to them. The Greater Horizon Financial Group team heard about pediatric hospice needs in our state and how the South-Central Indiana facility and team was supporting pediatrics and wanted to help. For the past few years we have been supporting the much needed pediatric side of the hospice program.

Love Chapel

The Ecumenical Assembly of Bartholomew County Churches, also known as Love Chapel, is a Christ-centered, faith based outreach ministry, comprised of 25 churches. Funds for our ministry are provided by churches, foundations, schools, businesses, groups, and individuals within our community. Our member and participating churches, together with the community at large, support those with emergency needs through Brighter Days homeless shelter, the food pantry, financial assistance, school care packages and hot meals. The Greater Horizon team has volunteered in the food pantry and homeless shelter, so we’ve been able to see first-hand the great work this organization does in our community.

Lincoln-Central Neighborhood Family Center

The Lincoln-Central Neighborhood Family Center (LCNFC) was born out of concern that many Columbus residents’ needs were not being met. Issues typically thought of as “big city” problems – i.e. poverty, domestic violence, drug addiction, homelessness, etc. – routinely plagued far too many of Columbus’ downtown residents. The Board’s mission remains strong in its desire to help resolve the struggles of our neighbors. Our team has had the privilege of working on the LCNFC community garden which is located in our downtown area.
